Unified communications dialer

Progressive dialer

A progressive dialer is an automated dialing system which presents the contact information to the sales rep prior to dialing the phone number. ICTBroadcast progressive dialer dial the contact only when the agent become available, places phone calls and when agent become available again, it dials next contact automatically. it is designed for agent based personalized communications rather than system based auto dialing and placing the calls in queue for multiple agents as in auto or predictive mode.

Predictive dialer

A predictive dialer is a kind of automatic dialer that even before the agents become available, places phone calls. By calling as many leads as possible, it is designed to maximize agent productivity. This ensures more efficient talk time, ensuring the call center's increased productivity.

Power Dialer

Often known as a Rapid Dialer, once a call is done, a Power Dialer dials a contact number instantly. The power dialer makes sure that you don't waste time searching for numbers to phone when you make a call from a contact list. The power dialer immediately switches to the next touch when a number is unattended, busy, or disconnected.

Auto dialers

Auto dialers are a form of software for predictive dialers. They come in different types and perform various roles, usually having the similarity of automatically calling telephone numbers (as their namesake gives away). Auto dialers typically come in handy when dialing time is of the essence or when allocating an agent is simply impractical/inefficient.


Asterisk is a software implementation of a telephone private branch exchange (PBX). It was created in 1999 by Mark Spencer of Digium. Like any PBX, it allows attached telephones to make calls to one another, and to connect to other telephone services including the public switched telephone network (PSTN) and Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services.

Its name comes from the asterisk symbol, “*”. Programmers used "*" character to show any possible combination of characters when capturing patterns. Most widely used for wildcard '*' in Unix/Linux. This is a notation used for flexibility. Hence, we also strive to achieve that flexibility in ICTBroadcast as an Auto Dialer that is scalable, flexible, robust, simple and easy to integrate with any third party application by using REST APIs.
